Iconic and captivating images of Asia are depicted in The Beauty of Asia, a limited-edition print of an original pastel illustration by pastel artist Carmen Zambrano. This matted Ultrachrome print on archival matte paper comes in two size options 11x14in or 20x16in. Zambrano was born in Peru and moved to the United States at the age of two. Now a resident of Danbury, Connecticut she has been painting with pastels for the past twelve years. As a child, Carmen developed a deep appreciation for the beauty of the world around us and in the worlds created in stories. It is these stories that she magically represents in her work. Zambrano received a BFA in Illustration from Western Connecticut State University. She has her work in many private collections and regularly shows her pieces at Spectrum Gallery in Centerbrook, CT.
