No pig in a poke here! This fuzzy friend makes everyone squeal with delight. It is a fine fiber sculpture created with love by artisan Laura Lyons. With needle felted wool on wire armature and sculpey eyes, it is handmade and truly a one-of-a-kind. Lyons works with many materials including metal, wood, fiber, glass, and ferro cement. Wool is of particular interest as it connects to ancient techniques with limitless sculptural potential. Lyons has shown her work at Wesleyan Potters, The Guilford Expo, the Hartford Artist League, Crafts at Rhinebeck the Shoreline Arts Trail and Spectrum Art Gallery in Centerbrook, CT
